Debian Project released sixth update of its stable release Debian 7.6 (Wheezy) on July 12th 2014 and the new project code name is Wheezy with GNOME 3.4 but originally it released Debian 7.0 (Wheezy) on May 4th 2014. Due to lots of series of security bugs/problems in 7.0 they released the sixth update 7.6 with major security fixes. In this article I'm going to install Debian 7.6 (Wheezy) Gnome Desktop installation with detailed steps and Screenshots.

Hardware Requirements

When you download an image, be sure to download the SHA256SUMS and SHA256SUMS.gpg files that are next to the downloaded image (i.e. In the same directory on the Kali Linux Download Server). 1) Booting Computer with Debian 7.6 installation media.

Boot your computer with Debian 7.6 installation media like (Burned CD/DVD or USB or ISO image). And choose your installation method Graphical Install and hit Enter button.

2) Language Selection

Download

Choose your preferred language to set default one, then hit Continue.

3) Location Selection

Choose your location (Your country) to set your time zone, then hit Continue.

4) Keyboard layout Selection

Choose your Keyboard layout here, then hit Continue.

5) Loading Installer Components

Loading additional installer components form CD and hit Continue button to move forward.

6) Network Configuration

Setup your hostname to identify your system within the network.
Enter host name, then hit Continue

7) Setting up root password

Its time to setup your root password, then hit Continue.

8) Create new user and password

7) Setting up root password

Its time to setup your root password, then hit Continue.

8) Create new user and password

9) Configure time zone

Choose your time zone, then hit Continue.

10) Disks Partition

Debian installer gives pre defined partition method but you can choose which one is suitable for you. For fresh installation choose the First option Guided-use entire disk, then hit Continue.
Choose your hard disk which you are going to install Debian OS, then hit Continue.
Choose the partition type. By default debian installer gives pre defined partition type and you can choose which one is suitable for you. For new users,it is advised to choose the First option All files in one partition, then hit Continue.
Partition overview : check your partition size, mount point and Choose finish partitioning and write changes to disk, then hit Continue.
Choose Yes to Confirm format, then hit Continue.
After formatting, it writes new Partition table into your hard disk

11) Configuring package manager

Choose Yes to configure the network mirror, then hit Continue.
Choosing the network mirror nearby your country, then hit Continue.
You get few more mirrors and choose best one, then hit Continue.
Configure the mirror using HTTP Proxy. Its not necessary so leave it blank, then hit Continue.

12) Installing GRUB boot loader

For fresh OS installation you need to install GRUB boot loader to avoid booting problems

13) Installation got over

You have successfully installed your Debian 7.6 and remove your installation media because it will restart automatically.
Finish the installation : Removing live packages from hard disk.

15) System booting from runlevel

After hitting Enter on your boot loader it will boot your system from runlevel to bring the login screen.
